OLA BIO oak honey has a pleasant and slightly metallic taste. It is a honey very rich in minerals with a special aroma and a very dark colour. It does not crystallize.

It is harvested from the autumnal oak tree in the gorges and the verdant slopes of Mount Parnonas (Arcadia) in the south-eastern Peloponnese at an altitude ranging from 200m – 800m from the beginning of October to the end of November with a very unpredictable production due to its sensitivity to changes in the weather.
It is particularly stimulating for bees and is the honey with the richest antioxidant properties, containing large quantities of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and sodium. The enzymes it contains enhance metabolism and the functions of the vital organs. It also helps in gastric disorders, influenza, overwork, haemorrhoids.
