7 Virtues is a 100% Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the beautiful island of Crete, an island renowned for its premium and full-bodied olive crop. The family olive trees, of the renowned “Koroneiki” variety, are in the area of Phaistos, to the South of Heraclion.

For as far as the eye can see, the rich plain of Messaras covers the entire Southern part of the prefecture of Heraclion with a green carpet of olive groves that have been cultivated for over 20 centuries. The region’s favorable microclimate (warm and dry during the day and cool at night) provides the ideal environment for the olive tree to thrive.

Our olives are all from the family groves and are harvested, extracted and bottled on the island, adhering to the highest international standards while always remaining true to the family heritage, quality and tradition. From the end of October until the end of January, we start the harvesting process; with care and dedication, our crop is collected and put into special crates that allow for its unique properties to remain unaffected during transportation.

These crates are then transferred to an approved ISO 22000:2005 and IFS food certified oil mill to begin the extraction. Within hours of harvesting, the cold extraction begins, with temperatures at a maximum of 24o C
and within 40-45min. We are present for every step of the process, until the first drop of olive oil is produced… the first drop of OUR olive oil.
