Wine Verdea Nature – Dimitrios Kefallinos – 750ml

Verdea is a traditional multi-variety wine produced in Zakynthos since the 190th century. It was identified oenologically with the production of wine in Zakynthos. The varieties used are Skiadopoulos, Pavlos, Goustolidi and others. Its name comes from the Italian ‘verde’ (= green), the color of the grapes when harvested, which were harvested early to have a higher acidity of the final wine.

The blend kneads and matures in oak barrels for about 11 months with native doughs and is bottled without filtering and other interventions in only 600 bottles.

The result is extremely impressive. Lemon color with golden highlights. On the nose, the aromas of citrus are strongly dominated by bergamot, citrus, grapefruit, orange blossom and melancholy notes along with hints of vanilla. The body is medium with crisp acidity and long aftertaste. Combines harmoniously with fish and seafood, appetizers, pies and fresh salads. Serve at 10 ° C.
