The sodium bicarbonate is an antacid used to relieve heartburn and dyspepsia. If using sodium bicarbonate as an antacid, you should take it 1-2 hours after meals with a full glass of water. You should not take it immediately after eating because it will neutralize the digestive juices and digestive have bad results.

Baking soda increases the concentration of bicarbonate ions in plasma, regulates the excess hydrogen ions and increase the pH of the blood, reversing thereby the clinical manifestations of acidosis.
All modern researchers insist and have shown that the more acidic the body the more:
1. Weak and ineffective is our immune system
2. Is favored the development of neoplastic effects
3. Is accelerated the growth of cancer cells
4. Is favored the growth of fungi and bacteria such as the candida

It helps the kidneys get rid of uric acid crystals, therefor it helps to prevent and reduce the risk to occur kidney stones.

It might even make some drugs (eg, sulfonamides) work best or can help your body get rid of too many residues creating some drugs (eg, phenobarbital).

It can also prevent and treat certain metabolic problems (acidosis) caused by kidney disease.

Dosage:

Simply dissolve the recommended amount of baking soda in a glass of cold water and drink it.

Use: 1/2 teaspoon soda daily in a glass of water after the mix well.
